Artist's Notes:
Originally I was just messing around with some new drawing techniques. But as I kept doodling away, I really liked how things were turning out :D
Being a perfectionist at heart, it's always bothered me that most of my drawings take so long to produce. When it comes to digital lineart, my usual approach always seemed to end up looking like a vector work with all the time I'd spend making it look clean and crisp >w>; Doing some of my lineart traditionally, on ordinary printing paper, yielded that organic aesthetic I strove for in my digital work.
On this Doodle Page however, everything was drawn free-hand, using the Eraser Tool instead of the Undo feature, or resorting to multiple layers. In all, there are 3 layers average for each sketch. This also greatly reduces the size of the PSD file. Most of the lineart was done with an ordinary brush, with a lowered Flow, as well as a tighter Spacing setting.
Personally, I'm quite pleased with my experimenting's result C: I'm hoping that this is a positive step in my artistic development. Let me know what you think!

The tubesock-snake is my fav. It's always a tight fit but it always manages to get her in.
