Okay, I became aware of a Discovery Channel special in which a man will be eaten alive by an anaconda. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5rrM3zl4J_g I'm hoping this a promotional gimmick and the snake actually didn't eat him, because apparently the guy is still alive. Which means the snake never ate him, or they cut him out of the snake after it ate him WHICH IS NOT OKAY!!! SERIOUSLY.

So, I made an anaconda naga to represent what I think the snake is thinking during this.

other than being neat to look at i really don't get why this is even a thing. i mean we already know the snakes biology and everything so what purpose does this show have other than going "ooo thats neat" if there is none then discovery i don't think should be doing it.

Discovery is trying to get higher ratings, and apparently the best way to do that is to put the dumbest possible thing on the air these days.

Their ridiculous scheduling of "Mythbusters" this year sure didn't help ratings either. =\

Can't say the idea is automatically that dumb. My only concern is if it would harm the snake, I do NOT approve of what they're doing in that case.

Aside from hurting the snake, I can't really imagine what they're gonna accomplish by filming a guy getting eaten. What, to learn about how snakes eat? We already know that in great detail. I just don't see the point, honestly.

Well... we could say I'm one of those people who wouldn't mind seeing real life vore, but only as long as it would be fully safe for both sides! If this were accomplished, it would be the first case of safe soft vore in the history of mankind :3 Which obviously isn't some challenge people need to beat, like the moon landing or something that's actually useful... still interesting though.

Otherwise, this would confirm that large snakes can indeed swallow people whole. NOT because anyone else should ever try that! It's just that there's been debates about this before, with lots of pro and con arguments... so this would also bust a myth.

You can kinda see this large cord near the waist on the suit. It could be a combination of an oxygen tube and steel cable to pull him back out. Otherwise, they couldn't exactly leave him in there, he'd be crushed before he passed out and definitely before any harm came to him from digestion.

On a completely unrelated note, I really like this picture. It does fit what the snake must be thinking with "WTF is everybody doing here?"

blanham17

Posted by blanham17 10 years ago Report

Ahh, didn't notice that. I guess they intend to just pull the guy out then.

And thank you very much. :)

Silversepiroth

No problem.

Still not the most comfortable thing for the snake, though. I mean, its entire biology is designed for keeping live prey down unless it directly stands a risk of killing or severely harming it, so just yanking him out isn't going to be the most comfortable thing ever.

That's right, I bet they never even asked the naga if she wanted to do the show; way for them to consider the poor thing's feelings. =(

Neat, Blanham. =)

I'm sure nothing about this is being done with her feelings in mind. xD

But what if he has buns hun?

blanham17

Posted by blanham17 10 years ago Report

I'm sure not even buns will help with the sear level of mood killing that the prey wearing a big doofy looking suit and a full camera crew.

hell, i'd watch that, kind of curious to see how it'd turn out.

MirceaKitsune

Posted by MirceaKitsune 10 years ago Report

If it happens, I'll watch it regardless. But I ONLY approve of it if it's being done without harming the snake in any way, otherwise it's evil.

I'm thinking it will be about an hour or 2 of nothing and no pay off. Maybe some educational stuff, but not much.

Just found out about the whole Discovery thing. Not sure how to feel about it... it's quite a bittersweet thing if you will. This image feels about right however :)

Backwards unwilling vore...
Where the predator is forced to eat rather than eat the willing...
Kinda has that special magic you don't see often. :3

I wasn't sure if there were enough unwilling preds. I thought it was cute. xD

Wolfknight130

yep lol, it's called "a predator with a conscience" lol

darkninja

I'm hoping, maybe they just made the snake vomit him back up or something

blanham17

Posted by blanham17 10 years ago Report

Apparently they do have some kinda harness attached to the guy so they can pull him out. Still, I would imagine the snake is not gonna enjoy the experience.

darkninja

Posted by darkninja 10 years ago Report

well, it's still better than cutting him out

Alright Let me address the elephant in the room before I talk about the awesome art. I don't think Discovery channel would really do something like "cut him out" because that would give them too much heat and blow back. When snakes eat prey they are very vulnerable and pretty much defenseless. In order to fix that, they have the ability to throw back up there food so they can run away or fight. I don't know how their going to get him out. But they may use that ability to.

Now to the art. Great job she's really cute, love the chubbyness on her. You're very good at drawing snakes. The way her tail coils around looks believable.

blanham17

Posted by blanham17 10 years ago Report

I'm not terribly bright, so I didn't think of looking up if snakes can barf up bad meals at the time or not. Probably should have. xD

And thank you so much for the compliment! :D I actually don't draw snakes that much, so it's nice to hear that I got the coils to look convincing. :)

Vdiem

Haha, I only know that because of: Animal Planet. Watch a lot of that channel when I was younger. I also keep a pile of random ass facts that will never be use in the real world at the ready.

You're welcome just so I'm not subjective: i'm not a real fan of the puffy hair. But hold in mind that this is a personal problem.

Also like the way you drawn the breasts they look like they have weight and gravity is effecting time in some way. Makes them look a lot nicer as a whole. The nipples...there's no words to say how great they are. :) Keep being awesome!

This is the cutest naga pred I’ve ever seen. You should really draw more of her. Does she have a name?
