It dawned on me
I haven't ever drawn Dan Straight being eaten, after all he's done to Natsu's status as apex macro.
....Welp time to fix that. I3
SO YEAH this is partially inspired by one of the cutest childrens' book I've seen in a while> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7LNW6HQ8_yY
So I had to make something based on it. So here have more Natsu pred because that's how I roll. <3 He's probably gonna have a hard time digesting that armor tho. You;d think by now he'd know that not everything is edible but oh well~
And yes, he's using the same spear that shrank him as a toothpick. No, no size-changing will occur. XD
Enjoyyy~

Toothpicks are such a wonderful detail, especially if it's something weird. x3

I knowww~ Sharp pointy weapons are perfect for that! (On the flipside, toothpicks make for nice makeshift weapons for tinies. XD)

Don't know why he swallowed the knight? Well, perhaps it's best to leave some things unanswered. XD
Nice, Y.C.. Natsu seems kind of indifferent, like he figured the knight would be more filling than he was. Oh well... =)

Natsu clearly got too annoyed by him. He was no doubt flirting with Lucy again. XD

I also love how you did the spear as a toothpick <3
Omg, that storybook though! I can't imagine how obsessed I would've been if I'd had that as a kid, ahaha. I was really surprised and pleased that the dragon kept the knight in his belly at the end~

They're the right shape for it! :D
And yessss, I think little kid me would have been all over this book. And I'm glad that he still kept the knight inside him at the end - always feels kinda sad when the pred loses in childrens' stories. He can't help it it's in his nature!

Youve managed to combine my sinful adulthood and my innocent childhood in one picture that made me blush in public .\\\. Hehe, at least the armor will keep the little guy alive...for a littke while at least.

So, it's a spin-off story to "There Was an Old Woman Who Swallowed a Fly". Interesting take on an old classic. XD
