The Real Treasure Was Inside You All Along By Halcyon -- Report

(Originally written 2010, Revised July 2016 and again in July 2020)

I was digging through my closet, when I found an old hard drive all boxed up from a past computer. I plugged it in and mounted it, and was surprised to see that it worked! Even more so than that, I was utterly shocked to find an old vore story that I'd written long ago, nearly finished, that I thought I'd lost when my old computer broke down.

It wasn't nearly up to my standards of today, but it was around six thousand words long. A quick few days of heavy revising and additions fixed that, though, and I'm proud to share it with you all, six years after it was originally written!

This is the last story I wrote before my hiatus from the portal. At the time, it was my best, and my longest by a wide margin. Originally titled "The Pyramid Treasure," I eventually settled on the current title. I had long thought that this one had been lost forever, so I was a little emotional when I found it - completely unexpected - all these years later. Now, I'm very excited that it can finally see the light of day.

Plot: A girl falls asleep on a beach, only to wake up in a mysterious desert. She finds a pyramid with a dungeon inside, and she's given three lives. Standing between her and the treasure, however, is a hungry harpy, a voracious mermaid, and a beautiful but predatory sphinx.
