A full tummy is a happy tummy, which makes for a very happy pred <3 Simply put, this is the reason any natural-born predator seeks to endlessly consume throughout its lifespan. The electrifying sensation of your squirming prey, the titillating vibrations from a gurgling gut, and the audible ecstasy of a bubbling belly, are all powerful motivators to humour your predatory instincts~
However, a smart predator knows to restrain themselves. While the urge to surrender to your food-lust may be overwhelming, some voracious restraint goes a long way to a pred's long-term well-being.
Like with most predators, the fuller your stomach, the louder it will be. Any delicious digestion sounds are amplified by how much meaty mass is stuffed inside you in one sitting. This makes sense, as the stomach has to work that much harder to try and digest the given quarry.
This intensity does not affect a given churn's volume as much as it does frequency in occurrence. However, the occasional abnormally loud gurgle and strained groan are to be expected. As your meal is worked on and shifted around, this gastric tumble inevitably makes for a noticeable ambiance, especially if you enjoy swallowing your prey whole and conscious.
In this example, a greedy lamia has chosen to dismiss restraint, and succumb to her insatiable lust to devour. This leaves her vulnerable to detection, not just to new prey, but to other, stronger predators. Should her sloshing tummy alert a nearby pred that happens to be higher up the food-chain, both she and her satiated gut will become forfeit!
Luckily for her, in this case our weak-willed lamia will be safe for another day. It's still kinda embarrassing to ruin your sneak-attack with a clumsy, squelching groan like that >//v//<
Then again, maybe it's more embarrassing for her victim, to not have noticed this noisy lamia sneaking up on her until now... when it's already way too late~...
Guess this mischievous lamia gets to stuff yet another squirming lump of girl-meat down her greedy gullet <3

This drawing was for further practice in terms of viewing angle, proportions, and most importantly, efficiency! While I worked to produce this in only one evening, it took about one and a half c:
What helped me greatly in this project was the use of a program called "Design Doll." I first saw the artist Doxy/Onta recommend it in their drawing tutorials, and I can definitely see why. If you're a fellow budding artist, I suggest giving it a look-see! :3 The free version comes with more than enough features to be a helpful resource.

Cute~!
And when I gulp somwbody, I tend to be fine when it comes stuffing quietly. My belly has a thick layer of fat on it <3 that way, anyone struggling, screaming, or drowning inside will have their cries muffled and only be able to jiggle and wobble my huge tummy~
And as for doing the smart thing when full, no way. I just eat and eat and totally lose controll stuffing myself (with fictional prey and with IRL food too~) One day my hungry gut is gonna get me digested...

Ooo, that's a great advantage that hefty preds have :3c A comfy layer of fat should adequately muffle any inconvenient sloshing~ Just be careful with that magnificent belly, we don't want you to be digested just yet! ^ . ^

Oooooh, really great art here, and a good idea besides! Sometimes, those noisily gurgling stomachs can get you in trouble - and as you said, the more packed full they are of delectable, squirming prey, the more it's going to gurgle and groan trying to process them!
Super great idea!

While my preds tend to absorb more than to digest, their bodies are not always very effective at muffling the prey's moans and cries for help.
But each one of them has their way to work around that. And some others don't do anything about it, or even try to make their preys louder, as they find the noises make the process all the more enjoyable.
