Another 'multiple answers in the same set'!

nuclearstardustcell asked -- "Ryla, does your stomach consist of a black hole? Your stomach seems to be completely unstoppable. Can ANYTHING escape it's deadly grip? "

The short answer to this is..no! At least, not yet!

The longer answer - Trying to escape my stomach is generally an exercise in futility! The stronger a being, the 'tougher' I become, too! Being in the vicinity of powerful or highly-magical beings gives ME a boost too, as I kinda...siphon energy off of them! Makes me 'better', and makes them weaker in the process! Normal humans and demis and such...well, no boost, but my tummy is more than effective enough to keep those in, too!

Going into the belly is a one-way trip!

demonicprofessor asked -- Has there ever been a prey that you couldn't digest?

Well, here's an incredibly powerful demoness, ruler of some level of the underworld or what have you...covered in spikeyness...

Let's see how she fares! x3

replicated asked -- Actually I'm curious about something. I know you both play for keeps, but what are your thoughts on prey that can come back? Have you ever encountered any?

Even supposedly 'immortal' beings I've never seen come back after a trip into the tummy! Now, that may be they are either avoiding me, OR...they're not as 'immortal' as they thought!

HOWEVER, that being said...if prey COULD come back?! Why in the heck would I say now?! Would get the experience a flavor I enjoyed more than once, AND get another meal in the process?! HECK...YES!

Thanks a ton to  rupie for this askie arts! :3

Does Ryla or Felicity have a wife/mate? If not, can I be their mate/wife? If they do have a wife/mate, how come we don't see them?

CassyInko

Posted by CassyInko 8 years ago Report

Neither one does yet! x3

ceraphtheomnibus

Posted by ceraphtheomnibus 8 years ago Report

Can I be their mate/wife? And if they attempt to fight over for me, they'll DEFINITELY end up in my belly.

CassyInko

Posted by CassyInko 8 years ago Report

Trying to stuff either of them in a tummy is the best way to end up in theirs...>:3

ceraphtheomnibus

Posted by ceraphtheomnibus 8 years ago Report

You've never met me, then... you see, I have various copies that I send out if one copy goes down. If one goes down, two take its place, and if two go down, four will take their place, and so on.

CassyInko

Yum! Best way to get full!

ceraphtheomnibus

They turn into slime and take control of their pred.

CassyInko

Posted by CassyInko 8 years ago Report

Likely with all the success of this 'immortal' demoness! XD

ceraphtheomnibus

Posted by ceraphtheomnibus 8 years ago Report

Yep.

But still, I'd like to be Ryla and Felicity's mate.

vegeta002

Posted by vegeta002 8 years ago Report

Considering the survival rate of people that meet them, it'll probably be that way for a while.

CassyInko

Posted by CassyInko 8 years ago Report

This...is likely true...XD

"Even supposedly 'immortal' beings I've never seen come back after a trip into the tummy!"

Never met a Gensokyo Fairy, then?

CassyInko

Posted by CassyInko 8 years ago Report

Nope! But I bet they're delicious! >:3

vegeta002

Posted by vegeta002 8 years ago Report

I haven't tried, you'd have to catch one first. Shouldn't be hard, they're fast little tricksters, but damn stupid and lack any concept of self-preservation.

My main OC's one, though you'd probably cook yourself trying.

Gensokyo fairies are tied to a certain aspect of nature. So, as long as that thing exists, they'll come back from death. This pisses Shirou off, because people die when they are killed.

Of course, there are different types of what is considered "immortality", but that's a massive and crazy topic to cover.

vegeta002

Posted by vegeta002 8 years ago Report

Their style of immortality probably makes them some of the hardest immortals to kill, second only to the Hourai Elixir.

I wonder if the constant deaths are why the faries rarely look older than kids?

CassyInko

Posted by CassyInko 8 years ago Report

So you're telling me...I gotta eat nature itself.

Challenge...Accepted.

ItsSongxing

Posted by ItsSongxing 8 years ago Report

Well, yeah. Some have existences tied to a tree, and then you have Sunny Milk who is tied to the existence of the Sun. Good luck perma-killing /her/.

With a power like that, Ryla could fight villains with little issue if she's just this big power sponge ouo

CassyInko

Posted by CassyInko 8 years ago Report

That's...kinda what she is! It's kinda a two-way sword, though. Normal person with a crossbow or bows are her biggest enemy, cause she doesn't have that 'boost'. x3

Deleteduser5cj39

Posted by Deleteduser5cj39 8 years ago Report

;-; low tech weaknesses. This kills the Ryla, but power sponging is always useful so I can't knock it despite this issue :P

CassyInko

Posted by CassyInko 8 years ago Report

Yep! Normal weapons hurt!

Of course...Ryla has ways of dealing with those, too...x3

TheShepard256

Can Ryla absorb power from technology (by which I mean modern day and later tech e.g. electronics)? Does it make a difference whether or not said tech is part of a person (e.g. cybernetics)? Or has she not encountered such things yet?

CassyInko

Posted by CassyInko 8 years ago Report

To a degree, yes! High-powered stuff, like..well, plasma beams and stuff...slurped up like a sponge!

Cybernetics...HRRRM...THAT is a good question, and one I'd have to play around with to answer...

CGR-7

Posted by CGR-7 8 years ago Report

Uh-oh, she called you stupid, Ryla; you need to teach her some respect, hon. =)

And a black hole for your stomach? Well, I suppose if you somehow manage to swallow an ultra bright beam of light and it doesn't shine through your skin, then yeah your stomach is likely a black hole. XD

CassyInko

Posted by CassyInko 8 years ago Report

Foxes are best at teaching respect! >:3

And you're right! :O I need to test this theory.

So, pretty much...someone needs to hold a flashlight, and I'll eat them! :D SCIENCEFOX, HO!

TOBI

Stupid demon Immortal doesn't mean you can't be killed just that you will never die naturally. LOL

CassyInko

Posted by CassyInko 8 years ago Report

Muhuhaaa! XD Guess she learned the hard way!

Genly

Posted by Genly 8 years ago Report

Mmmmf, that's one sexy demoness. A sexy, digestable demoness!

CassyInko

Posted by CassyInko 8 years ago Report

Mm-hmm! XD Smug in her superiority! And so deliciously tempting...>:3

ExplosiveWaifu

Posted by ExplosiveWaifu 8 years ago Report

Ryla's stomach could most likely survive Samus's Zero laser. Or Asura's fist. Talk about having a strong stomach for things. x3

CassyInko

Posted by CassyInko 8 years ago Report

Yes! >:3

Strong tummy required when you nom all the things! XD

BooFire

Posted by BooFire 8 years ago Report

You have encountered the same prey more then once. I mean the amount of time you've eaten Marty is too much to count.

This begs the question of have you ever encountered prey that wants to be nommed by you

And if they some how come back do they come back to be nommed again?

CassyInko

Posted by CassyInko 8 years ago Report

This is very true... :O Delicious, delicious burrs.

I hear goats are equally as delectable! x3

Hrrrrm....this is a good question... :O

BooFire

Posted by BooFire 8 years ago Report

Well I did hear it's the time of season for goats to be at there tastiest, eating just one goat makes you full for days.

So you should eat like seven.

Marty can't catch a break can he?

CassyInko

Posted by CassyInko 8 years ago Report

This is true... :O Packing in tons of goatboys and goatgirls oughta last me the entire season! XD

BooFire

Posted by BooFire 8 years ago Report

Well what are you waiting for?

GO OUT AND HUNT FOR THE GOATS!

CassyInko

Posted by CassyInko 8 years ago Report

Hahahah. XD I TOTALLY agree!

Even cool, devious demons have some sense of fashion! XD

Birichino

Posted by Birichino 8 years ago Report

Hm...so Ryla's only weakness would be something that just fights better than she can at full power, or is immune to energy siphoning, or is innately very strong without magic.

Rare stuff.

Though if she's absorbed that many immortals, is she immortal now, or does what she steals wear off like Rogue's powers?

CassyInko

Posted by CassyInko 8 years ago Report

Ryla has a multitude of weaknesses (check out Queen of Hearts as time goes on! She...is not always a winner. x3), but incredibly strong entities are not one of them. Will be explained alot more!

She is actually NOT immortal, and will still age...IF she stops eating people. It's that little 'spark of life' that keeps her from aging, and continues to increase her power...though, she also uses that same power in everything she does. It's a delicate balance!

Birichino

Posted by Birichino 8 years ago Report

Reminds me a little of Selene, the Marvel villain. Immortal as long as she keeps sucking people's life-force out.

And apparently Ryla lives with the Tony Stark balance. The power she uses to do things is also the power she needs to live, so going 100% is life-risking.

Or the way JoJo vampires seem to work, where they can only regenerate to an extent, which seems to be raised by feeding.

CassyInko

Posted by CassyInko 8 years ago Report

Yeah! The Tony Stark balance is a good way to think about it! x3 Going 100% is...very, very bad for her! At least, if she stops eating people! Otherwise, she uses THAT energy!

Birichino

Posted by Birichino 8 years ago Report

Yeah, gotta keep that chest plate plugged into the wall socket or swing generators or something so you don't die.
Early Iron Man was really dumb/fun.

RPG terms are always best for analogies. She casts from HP. Or at least dies if her MP runs out.

CassyInko

Posted by CassyInko 8 years ago Report

Exactly! :3

Birichino

I'll stop now before I start talking about Brave Fencer Musashi in public. Or at all.
