This drawing was won by svartvinge in last week's April-Fools Patreon stream \:D/ It features his OC Leafy <3
There's a large subset of people new to the adventuring game, and particularly gullible to what questing has to offer. Leafy is the kind of pred to take playful advantage of their naivety~
In this scene, leafy has set herself up as a quest-giver outside a popular town, full of newcomers and other rookie adventurers. A newbie comes up to her and she'll say something like:
"I swallowed an item earlier, and I can't get it back out on my own~ （ﾉ｡≧◇≦）ﾉ I think it's a rare helmet or something. If you help fish it out, I'll let you keep it...!"
Leafy preys on their yearning for easy epic-level gear. Not everyone sees the fun in grinding to earn all the really good equipment yourself. As you can see here, some of the adventurers are silly enough to believe her, strip down, and willingly let her devour them whole.
If being eaten alive wasn't enough of a clue, as soon as they realize there's no loot down in her squishy, cervine gut, Leafy's not exactly going to let them wriggle back out again~ <3 They're gonna come out where all her food eventually does instead...
I mean, if her distended gut and its various gurgles, churns and the muffled moaning wasn't enough of a tip-off, these adventurers deserve to be eaten ٩(•౪•٩)三
Do you as a pred, like to occasionally trick your prey into being eaten? If you're prey, do you think you'd fall for such a clever ruse~?

this was really fun to look at. A smar pred happily serving to keep up the quality of adventurers out there, by sending the worse ones in there^^
My snake OC Tends to play games with prey, letting them think they could win, only making themselves more vulnerable or simply entertaining him in the process.

That's a really fun way to approach things. Toying with your prey, feeding off their reactions as hope for escape is slowly stripped from them~ <3 Deliciously diabolical.

It's all about proper setup and planning, along with being good at 'persuading' your prey to fall for your ploys. My character The Mother certainly has her ways of convincing whole POPULATIONS to willingly drop themselves into her gut with the right circumstances ^.^

I imagine ersuasion is an especially useful ability for a pred to have :D If your OC a giantess, or something like a Gaia entity?

Think more along the lines of a eldrich horror that is an amoeba that can grow to 'galactic' proportions (provided that there is enough food) and that can change shape/size/race/sex as easily as you and change clothing.
The Mother is a character with very few 'limits' and can be tweaked to fit almost 'any' situation, provided a few ground are followed:
(1) The Mother does not 'physically' hurt people in any way (no gore, blood, or hard vore, not my preference with her)
(2) No prey is ever truly 'destroyed', but some don't really have any memories to be resurrected from.
Otherwise, I tend to go crazy with her in the Stories I write for her in my gallery... If you read anything you like from my gallery and want to use The Mother, just ask, but I sadly do not have an octopus form for her... (yet ;P)

Just be careful if you go diving into her folder.... I have DAYS worth of reading material on her posted in my gallery xD (I know cause I've gone back to reread everything and it takes a few days at least...)

I really love the looks of this! Taurs always make such fantastic preds! Realllly loving how you did the gulping here, just, the eyes looking down at her meal, jaw doesn't look too distorted, and just the kina control Leafy is showing with it too~ Also might be minor to you, but the taur anatomy looks really nice, especially the little details like fluff above the hooves, and the sorta internal look of the walls!

I'm glad you like the minor details too. I feel Leafy's rear-end is SLIGHTLY too big, but other than that I'm quite happy with it as well <3
...then again, having a butt that's a bit too big isn't much to complain about.
