She had come to stop him and his madness, the corrupted A.I. had wrought havoc on the entire facility and she was the only one he'd allow near his control room.
Upon entering he immediately attacked her, his dialogue referring to something about what they could've been together, but she didn't let his strange words sway her, and she fought back.
During the battle, the shoddy rails beneath her began to crumble and quake, but thanks to a stroke of pure luck, she managed to fall onto the monstrous mesh of wires supporting the A.I.'s massive body, and quickly cut them, disconnecting him from control.
A clutch victory, but a short lived one, as the girl fell down alongside him, with nothing else to grasp onto she thought that this was the end.
Though, when she found herself grasped in the claws of the Robot, she thought that in his last moments, he had returned back to his old senses, his eerily red eye briefly flickering to blue, and back as his screen stared at her, before she was thrown onto a nearby collection of soft padded construction materials.
The girl got up, a bit sore and worse for wear, and after looking around the room she then approached the crashed remains of the Robot, which surprisingly looked quite intact, minus the blank screen with a massive crack horizontally splitting it.
The last thing she saw before she was knocked out from behind was the split in the screen opening up, like a gaping maw with a blinding light pouring from it...
---
Yet another strange dream again, but she shrugged it off. Laying in her bed and staring at the ceiling, the suns rays had just begun to peek through the curtains in the apartment bedroom.
Then, her lover entered the room, his cheery blue eye emoting happily as he dragged out a plate of pancakes for breakfast. She thanked him, and kissed him on the screen as she did every morning when he joined her.
That strange dream left a few strange questions in her mind, but she assumed she had probably watched the Matrix one too many times that week.
"If anything, i'd think this life was the dream!" She thought to herself, then chuckling at the silly thought.

Oh its not from the matrix, just heavily inspired by it, which is why I threw that little thing in there haha
If I tried to draw one of those matrix robots I'd probably die XD

so, is the ending a dream or is the major part of the story a dream?
Posted by Veemecelli 7 years ago Report
The ending is the dream, where the picture shows how he has her trapped in the real world :D
