Two interviewers audition the unique talents of a predator they hope will help them make a good addition to the gallery.

This one's sort of a meta, post-modern, self-referential 4th wall busting experiment that I wrote way too quickly, the better to actually get some sleep.

I would not at all mind seeing more of this~

I don't know if I'll do a ton more "Shadow Vore" but further weirdo additions to the Marloweny Gallery isn't unlikely.

I would definately read another story involving shadow vore. Twas baller good sir.

Glad you liked it!

I'd love to see more of this. The interviewer setup (and retrieval of said interviewers) was different from what I've seen in all the right ways.

Yeah. It strips away all of the narrative baggage of justifying an act of vore and cleaning up afterwards.

Wow, for something that you "wrote way too quickly", this was fucking awesome. Seriously. I'm with the others, I'd love to see a longer and more detailed story of this (at your discretion, of course).

That whole melty, fudgey, soft-biting-and-licking style of vore really gets me going, damn.
Posted by marloweny 7 years ago Report
The nibbly melty stuff is about as close as I'd get to hard vore. I'm happy you enjoyed it!

Hehehe, narrative device
Posted by marloweny 7 years ago Report
Why sugar coat it? Even with another name, that's what it would have been.

I very much enjoyed that story! As I view myself as the prey and not the pred, its nice to be vored and then still get to do it over and over.
Posted by marloweny 7 years ago Report
Yeah, I dislike permanent/fatal vore. One way or another I like to at least imply that the prey will be back.

I'm never too sure about stuff that seems irreversible, or fatal, so to me the most interesting thing about this story is the "narritive device" that makes all their problems go away.
Posted by marloweny 7 years ago Report
Likewise. One of the key themes of my writing is finding a way to make vore a mutually enjoyable, non-fatal thing. The Narrative Device is just the logical conclusion of the HDTF/magic line of thinking.

I liked the set up with a the interviewers and the shadow vore idea too!

I know it wasn't really the focus of the story, but I really like the idea of the "Narrative Device." Not just because it's amusing, but the whole idea of a remote control for life is something that's always intrigued me (particularly from a vore perspective). I'd really like to see it again.

this is an amazing idea tbh. not only for vore but for a tabletop rpg boss monster
