This is a pretty old picture at this point; the original sketch was made in November 2016, based on an idea from one of the discord groups I regularly lurk in. I wasn't initially planning on working on it any further (or making it a two parter), but here we are.
(And no, these two aren't part of the Alola series, I'll get started on that later.)
