(This is my personal interpretation :9 )

Vanilla realized that she missed how good she looked whe she was pregnant of her daughter, so she decided to do "invite" Cream to spend some more time with her.

She may have wondered if what she did was wrong, but after she saw herself in the mirror, with a much bigger belly than the time she was actually pregnant, she knew she did the right thing.

Maybe she should convince Cream's friends to come and play with her in her new home, as she always wanted to have multiplets :y
