Just wanted to upload something with my thunderbird harpy with some slight design tweaks and stuff. She used to have talons with the bird leg design but I haven't been super into it recently.
Maybe i'll go back to it, maybe not but for now here we are!

What's it been, like, 2 months since you last graced us with somethin'? Hey better now than never right?
When compared to your last piece, it's definitely more an overall success, but that was due to the last one being more experimental and a test, which is easy to forgive. So, let's go even further back to 4 months ago.
This pic, compared to that mass-vore one, feels a lot cleaner with the lines. They're a lot less sketch-like and seem more clear overall. The stomach shapes are pretty damn good too, and I feel your shading of skin is better.
Now, the negatives or slight ones. Your soft shading is a little obvious where it starts and stops, but it's still there and I appreciate seeing the effort atleast. Then we got your harpy girl's face. From where we see, it looks as if she has a somewhat small or shortened forehead, along with her head having different angles than her torso. The bigger issue is it isn't super obvious with the light shading, so it could use more definition there.
But overall, it's a damn good end result outta you.
So yeah, not a bad picture to return with. I do hope you plan to stick with us a little bit more. You don't post super often, and not all your pieces hit it outta the park for me. But I definitely like your visual style a lot, and to see you get better at drawing it would be the best fortune of all.

I just sorta have been MIA from drawing in general lately due to a lack of interest to draw. Currently taking classes for drawing and its sorta sucking out the motivation to draw I suppose and stuff.
Lines are probably cleaner looking because I took out the texture I use for sketching.
Head shape I need to get more used to drawing or at least create a style where it can remain consistent but its usually a circle I just slightly morph to work and stuff. So that's probably the root cause of that problem. Really this was just something I wanted to put up because I just had a suggestion to draw the bird and wanted to make something a bit more finished looking and stuff.

Well if you HAVE to draw during the normal course of the day, then of course you're gonna lose the willpower to do it as a hobby. Like I always tell my friends; A hobby should stay a hobby and be fun. Moment it feels like a 2nd job, you gotta stop and take a look back.
Of course the base head of a shape 'should' be a circle. But, a more realistic take would be a slight oval. I'm sure you know that of course, you did say you morph em and stuff. So long as you enjoy the end result of your picture, the specific and technicals, while still important to mind, the fun and enjoyment is all that matters.
A hobby should stay a hobby, right?

Honestly trying to figure out if I want to keep it as a hobby or not, Its a confusing time to go over it but i'll eventually come to a conclusion.
Honestly I really need to get into a set time frame to just draw, either practice or making stuff. For now though I just wanna get through Christmas and finals.

I'm sure you can find the answer. It'd be a shame to see someone with such a charming aesthetic leave, but part of me thinks once it can remain a hobby for you, it'll feel WAY more appealing. This happens to my buddy NAC and many others I know all the time, so you aren't alone feeling that way.
Real life responsibilities are more important than online ones. Do what you gotta, nobody could fault you eh?

Love her face :3 !

I dig this one. It's got a cute harpy girl making a great expression with a belly bulge type that I really enjoy.
The only part that I'd challenge is the shading/shapes on the bulge need some work to better match the prey's possible positions.
Anyway, good to see more stuff from you, always enjoy your expressions and cartoony charm!

Its how I learned to draw, so its sorta stuck around like that.
I'll keep the criticism in mind, also big fan of your stuff! Like a super huuuge fan. So thank you for taking the time to comment.
