I think it's a typo. Nepgear was the correct one. :P

No typo, it was Adult Neptune eating normal Neptune. In one of the games another older Nep shows up.

Ye, you're right, I forgot about the other Neptune. There is too many Neps in Nepgames :P

Nah it's simple. Neptune is main character, Nepgear is sister, Adult Neptune is from one specific game.
It's when you get into the different ending, universes and continuities that things get complicated...
