Hey hey people, Putinforgod here.
I'll say it over and over, the artblock is strong in me, but I still sometimes find the strenght to draw something. I had a somewhat started sketch of Ruto from September, but after seeing a certain huge-bellied Medli pic I felt inspired enough to try to finish it. I think it came out pretty well.
About the context is pretty simple. Link took so long to complete the Water Temple it made Ruto decide to go fight the monster Morpha by herself.
However it seems she managed to find much more diplomatic way than simply fighting to the death. Now the curse over the Zora Domain is broken and the princess got a powerful ally within herself.
The only thing left to see is how will her future husband react when he finds her this way...

Thanks! Shading that blue belly was pretty fun, specially because her skin has different shades of blue besides the usual shading. It was a bit more challenging than my usual bellies xd

Hehe, I kept using screenshots of the game as references, so I eventually came up with that idea.
It was also a great way to fill space :y

It's Ruto we are talking about. She's such a Tsundere she'll first get mad at Link to finding her in a such "shameful" appearance, but seconds later she'll change her mind and let him get close to her. As soon she realizes he's nowhere near disgusted, she'll quickly accept her new "pregnant" form and take pride of it.

Royals who actually do something!
Ruto's been a favourite LOZ girl of mine since Ocarina of time and seeing ehr get one up on Link in his adventure in boss defeats is a welcome sight.
Then again... Seeing her with such a giant belly is another welcome sight, Guess it's time for the Hero of Time to be a proper husband and give her some congratulatory belly rubs, he didn't need that heart Container anyway

Oh yeah! I remember I used to like her a lot, despite me being unable to understand english at that time. After I saw her in Hyrule Warriors the memories came back and I felt the imperious urge to do her some justice.
Link is a lucky guy I tell you that. (also Morpha is a lucky monster as well)
