Oooh, that's a fun idea! Ever since I saw MasakoX's theory videos on if Gine had come to Earth with her son, I've loved the idea of AUs where she survives to raise her son (And repopulate the saiyan race with any appropriately strong/cute humans she can find), and her being super voracious and fueling her strength with tasty treats is a fun idea!

PLot twist, all villains that are canonically killed off in Dragon Ball were, in fact, eaten by Gine here?

And an additional idea; perhaps this Chi-Chi was trained by Gine and raised into an ideal philosopher-monk lady, making her both a match for Tripitaka from the original story of Journey to the West (I'm a sucker for bringing in more elements of that story, which inspired Dragon Ball, into Dragon Ball's characters), and making dang sure her new daughter-in-law will be good at taking care of her boy!

So if you dislike the turns Chi-Chi's character took, this is a good way to get around that!

I've never seen those videos, but i have heard of them! I'd love to see an AU where Gine is alive again, so in my headcanon AUs she definitely will be. I totally picture Gine as a VERY Overprotective GMILF. Any villain threatens her darling son and grandsons and their friends get a one-way trip into her gullet!
Chi-Chi finds herself taking a trip into Gine's gut, but for different reasons, most likely to make herself stronger to be a traditional Saiyan wife, and put Goku, Gohan, and Goten in line ^w^
