Yes, it generally is. But being called “thicc”, “beautiful”, “sexy”, or any sort of compliment by a stranger on campus is uncomfortable and worthy of being swallowed whole.

I really have no idea anymore.

Today it's a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" situation for the guys.

Some like it, but then you never know if the recipient is the type that will take offence and sometimes have you reported.

Imagine if guys could do that?

But no, every single male human being is totally looking for sex 24/7 and should therefore always take such comments as signs of attraction and like it, and they all have a desire to harm females emotionally and/or physically.

I don't do it, I was asking for clarification from the beginning, because I don't get either side of the argument.

Other than that I was recounting things I've seen or experienced for myself; either you get dumped because you're a "beta" because you don't do those things, and next you try it and as a result you get dumped because doing so you "disrespect her".

As I said; "damned if you do, damned if you don't".

Also, that is your opinion.

Note how the person who replied before you clearly stated they don't feel offended by it, even enjoying it.

Sometimes people just can't seem to not take offence.

Also, as long as even a single girl thinks it is a good thing to hear someone compliment them on their appearance in that manner, it means it is not universally bad.

Those who believe they have the right to speak for the entire group they identify with without being asked by said group, just sound like an entitled snowflake.
