After his dad's kitchen catches fire, Alex has to improvise Thanksgiving dinner with only a few days prep time. Luckily for him, there are services that sell nice juicy turkey anthros who will clean your house and do the prep work before they get snuffed!
This story is set in my Furry Dolcett world, which has a form of automatic reformation, but I didn't mention it in the story since in the past some people mentioned they didn't like it. So depending on preference the turkey girl either dies permanently or gets resurrected and does the whole thing again next year.
Thanks to https://aryion.com/g4/user/Brawn for making the thumbnail for this story.
As always, let me know what you think, if I did something right I want to do it again, and if I did something wrong I want to get it right next time.

Nice! Always sexy to treat a anthro as normal more then food!

Nice story. I love athro turkeys, especially on thanksgiving. :)

Yeah, anthro turkeys are pretty much made for the oven, reformation is basically mandatory to keep them from going extinct!

Nice writing into giving us this world where anthro animals are the inferior and fall in line with the food chain. Though curious if anyone either be human or anthro are fair game at any time?

Well, my idea wasn't that anthros were below humans on the food chain, it just sort of ended up that way because the main character is a human and the menu was an anthro. The first story I wrote in this world actually featured a human woman as the main course.
And to answer your question, slavery is legal in this world and slaves can (naturally) be eaten by their owner at any time, but free citizens have to consent, which usually means they either let their lover/spouse(s) eat them or they sell their meat, which is how the resurrection system I mentioned in the description ties into it, letting them actually get paid for being cooked.
Someone commented on a previous story that it cheapened the whole thing by making them basically prostitutes, but for me having such a casual attitude towards death is part of the kinkyness, making the taboo mundane. Also, the idea of someone making a living off of dying over and over made me laugh.

This is still one of my favorites, something just works for me with this one. I even like to imagine a follow up sometimes in which Alex orders again for Christmas and the same bird (because of the reformation thing) gets delivered to him.

It's nice to see people still like the older stories I wrote. And that would be a fun detail, reformation allows for a lot of fun scenarios like that, and it means he'd know exactly how to cook that exact piece of meat for the best results.

:)
OK now I'm imagining it this way. Like she's ordered every one or two month. Cleans there for two weeks. He never talks to her or asks her name and she gets really confused. All the while he is just trying to perfect a recipe for her meat specifically.
That sounds kinda hot. I'd love to role play something like that some time.

Honestly roleplaying that sounds like fun, in roleplays I always find it easier when there's explicit resurrection and it does open a lot of fun opportunities like refining a recipe for one individuals meat over tons of tries.
If you want to talk or maybe roleplay feel free to reach out here in PM or on discord tastybisexual. But honestly it's just nice to see people enjoy stuff I write so thanks for the nice comments
