I'm unsurprised that there's some form of justice/higher order in-universe, or society probably would have collapsed by now. The Spellmans - and everyone like them, really - don't seem like the type to be concerned about anything other than immediate gratification and revenge; they just have the firepower, of various kinds, to back it up. While that attitude is conducive to what they're supposed to be in-story, it's not conducive to building a functional society.
In a way, it's even more perverse. After enough societal collapses, the "little people", so to speak, would likely come out on top, but provided that there's a cosmic force stopping that from ever happening, things just stay like this.
man the opening video was a little hard to get through for me, was rooting for autumn so hard that seeing her get broken like that was heartbreaking. well done for drawing me fully into the world you made yet again
