i decided to ditch the "extinctioner " voreblade idea since no one gets it at all.
so i just mess about with a few looks to sally's bond with the creature instead.
belly weighting you down? no problem an extra pair of legs to move about.

I actually loved the extinctioner idea. Though this mobile version could be perfect for when the finding of prey requires moving long distances. The immobile stages are probably when the creature has enough of itself to find prey on their own without moving the host
