Spike has always been forced to stick to a pony diet, with the only exception being gems. And while all that glitters is delicious, there was a palette not yet sampled by the growing purple dragon. This was a bit too hollow on why Spike decided to just suddenly eat Rarity, as him just being hungry should've had a bit more detail on it in my book. That aside though, this is definitely worth a favorite!
