Is it really still a surprise if the recipient never knows about it?
RusticPony gave me permission to line and colour a few of their older works-and some of my personal favorites~ I'm not generally into MLP content, but Rustic was always such an awesome artist that it really stood out to me. I do also like seeing the character proportions stood upright, so that may have something to do with it...
In this one Pinky goes a bit overboard on her birthday, and scarcely gives her friends the opportunity to spring the surprise-giving rather the wrong person the shock of their life!

H'yeah, kind of a weird pull after so long, eh? Thanks! I'm glad you think so-colouring isn't really my forte, heh!

I’m with you there, but I’m not sure I want to edit these that much. It’d be nice, but I want to pay homage-rather than entirely recontextualize.

Hehehe, like you, I'm not generally into MLP content. That said, Rustic always draws solid art and its hard not to enjoy it. Just... look at Pinkie's pleased smile, and that round belly! Who can resist it?

I guess Pinkie Pie has a thing for rainbow flavoured cakes! Surely Rainbow Dash can clear this up and get out of her friends belly though. I mean, it's only enough cake to bury a pony, compressed together into one especially hungry Pinkie Potbelly..
