I've had the idea for an an "Unbirthing Positions" poster kicking around in my head for years, inspired by the sort of guide that exists for pregnant women, particularly this one: https://images.app.goo.gl/sfWTveaSCTAyV8M36
Donutwish and I tossed around the concept shortly after finishing the A&P of Unbirth comic, https://gumroad.com/products/HcoCi/ but never got to tackling the project, so it was mothballed for a long while. But last month, I ended up having an inspiration for a narrative structure to tie the images together that stuck with me enough to write up a script, and between comic sales and my generous Patreon supporters, I was able to afford to commission this.
The artist here is PariahExileWrath, https://www.deviantart.com/pariahexilewrath - I'd commissioned them for short comics in the past, and their art style seemed like a good fit for the style in the posters that inspired it. I'm very happy with how it turned out, and definitely recommend them for others wanting to commission art. As long as you're able to describe what you want in detail up front, they do a great job with really fast turnaround.
Fans of Professor Smith will be pleased to hear that seeing the final work has inspired me to write another story with her, as a "making of" story behind what's happening in the poster.

It took me a while to notice it was a sequence of all the girls from the first image getting stuffed recursively inside each other rather than standalone exxamples of each position.

Yeah, that little detail is what finally gave me the inspiration I needed to get the concept out of the planning stage.

I’m hoping for sometime this month, but we’ll see. It’s been set aside in favor of working on comic collaborations, but I’m planning to pick it back up again as soon as I finish the final draft of the script for the next comic that Lady Drasami and I are making and get that sent to her.
