An arc of blinding light crashed into the ground behind her, momentarily illuminating the decayed exterior of the Mansion before it was once again silhouetted by starless night. Lightning, but no rain-a grim portent, even without the dramatics of her location. The door was unlocked, parting slightly with only a low creaking that attested to the entryway's age. The whole structure seemed abandoned, and so far nothing had seen fit to challenge that observation; she considered turning back. No one would know if she did, right? She could just say the house was empty-they'd believe her, and it's not like anyone would bother to verify her claim over a stupid dare. Still… it would be a lie to say she wasn’t curious herself-and from the soft light now spilling through the cracked doorway she could see that someone had obviously visited the derelict manor already, probably another unlucky student pressured into trekking off to the outskirts of town on a dare. With her palm resting over the portal, Casey couldn’t help but feel that going inside would be a mistake she wouldn’t live to regret…
Getting over her nerves and actually opening the door, the girl was met with a sight altogether anticlimactic and surreal: a pale spirit, bountiful in form with a visage resembling a cartoonish facsimile of a person, hovered near a dual staircase on the opposing side of the room. Temporarily stunned by such blatant evidence of the supernatural, Casey barely took note of the delighted murmur that preceded the jubilant,
“Hello! I’m Spooky~!”, the boisterous cry that emanated from the specter drowning out her own confused muttering. Whatever the student had been expecting, reality failed to fall in line. By far the most confusing element of this discovery was not just proof of something resembling an afterlife-but the rather… copious amount of it. This was a haunting of a considerable magnitude; to be blunt, the ghost was fat. Portly, obese even, would describe this apparition. It was mindboggling, the deceased girl’s gut seemed to be the largest portion of her body by far, and easily occluded from view everything below her impressive bosom. But… why…? What possible series of events could have lead to ANY person acquiring such an immense physique, let alone one whom has shuffled off this mortal coil? Can the undead eat? Had she been a terrible glutton in life, now represented in her afterlife via her appearance? Or had she simply always been so well fortified?
These were all especially important questions, ones that Jo-Beth Casey was careful to express with the tact and delicate precision one can attribute to her person. Focusing back in, Casey interrupted the monologue that she could barely hear from across the room over the rampant cacophony of glorps and gurgles issuing from the geist’s frame,
“Holy shit,” the specter already affronted by Casey’s earlier bout of laughter, “You’re HUGE!” An astute observation on her part, as the ghost was quick to point out. Honestly, this all seemed to be going quite well and she was having more fun than anything she could readily recall; Spooky, as she had christened herself, did not appear to be particularly amused by her insightful remarks-interjecting with growing irritation amidst Casey’s disparaging comments. When she could get a word in edgewise, Spooky promptly instructed the girl through a secondary door behind her-increasingly flustered by the echoing sounds of laughter before they were cut off by a slamming door and the sounds of grinding machinery. With a sigh, the pale woman floated upwards-momentarily becoming stuck as her corpulent belly impeded her movement, before successfully phasing through the ceiling…

As we all know, Spooky likes to staff her ever changing place of residence with assorted evils she's encountered to assist in accomplishing her nonspecific goals. Recently, she's developed a surplus of monsters after dragging more than a few of them into her abode via a largely non-understood method of dimensional translocation. Even more recently, said monsters have grown somewhat... complacent, in their duties.
After a somewhat impulsive series of actions; Spooky has effectively "Cleaned House" of much of her bestiary, ruining her waistline and effectively reducing her effective lineup to only a fraction of it's former inventory.
Whilst she auditions potential recruits, Spooky is giving the remaining Specimens a chance to defend their jobs; if they can prove their effectiveness, Spooky will allow them to retain their position-if they fail to meet quota, she has alternative positions for them to fill.
With a new and eager "Protagonist" at the gates, it's time for another three to earn their keep; all have proven somewhat effective in the past, but one of them has been lagging behind as of late. Hopefully Tirsiak's ability won't be impeded by her hunger, else she may find herself the solution to someone else's...
This first page is a FANTASTIC start to an idea I've been interested in jumping on for the longest while; UnknownGuy404 completely knocked it out of the park, and I'm absolutely enamored by how well this fits my vision for the comic~ I can't wait to work with them further in this endeavor!
For a bit of clarification, the standard "set" of monsters will include one from outside media, one from my own library, and one native to the original game; the "Protagonists" will be from assorted media, as well as my own library. There will be votes as to whom may appear in what role, on occasion.
The first Protagonist is Jo-Beth Casey, from TimeSplitters: Future Perfect-ironically enough, finding herself in yet another haunted mansion. The guest monsters are Maneater Mildred and Mal-from Dark/Demon's Souls and me/The SCP Foundation, respectively.

The fact that it says "The remaining three" and says there will only be one from the original game implies that Specimen 4, who literally eats you is not only not going to be appearing in a vore comic about SJM Specimen, but also was eaten herself. I am... not sure how I feel about that.

Most of the ones in the game already are; though not all of the native specimens will be featured directly, I’m not going to modify all of their designs. Guest creatures will have a generally humanoid preference-but there will be exceptions.
