Like their mwee employers, Jadia and Mira aren't shy about tricking people into doing "safe" things with them. This nice human couple they invited back to the embassy is just figuring out that "safe" is a flexible term.

tricking people into getting within reach to eat them is common. Getting them to climb all the way down voluntarily is a lot less common.
