Yep, it's more or less canon Laika just had to cut this scene from the movie because the MPA threatened to give it an R rating if Courtney digested someone onscreen

Im honestly surprised they didn't show this more in the movie
I bet there was supposed to be a bunch of scenes with her like this, but producers and test audiences made them cut it >:T
They should have had people of culture judge those scenes...there's always next time i hope ;w;
