A demi-human arrives in the afterlife at the remarkably young age of twenty-five; a shocking outlier, considering her race's trademark nine lives. The goddess responsible for delivering judgment insists she tell her tale. Tragically, the demi was born with a unique and inevitably deadly curse...
Woah, hey there. Those tags to the right contain some major spoilers. Keep clear if you're looking to be surprised. Also, they're a mess. That's just how it goes with this one.
Another week and another upload. This one's actually been kicking around for a long, long while, but it took some time (and a bit of outside help) to nail down a tone for our poor, beleaguered catgirl's tale.

This was a really great read, I'm super stoked about all the thought that went into it. And the ending was great—the idea of fate comes to mind, perhaps it really is just Talia's fate to be devoured. Camping out in a caring god's stomach is definitely not the worst thing in the world, heh... great job again! Would love to read more about Talia or this world potentially!

A nice little prophecy twist, sure one may just be food, but that does not mean a pred will not be gentle too food.

Thanks! I'll admit, this entire thing is functionally a setup for the somewhat cruel joke at the end, but you're not wrong; Talia's certainly been through worse, and Aona's a goddess of her word... mostly.

Super interesting read. Would kinda enjoy a deeper dive into each life Talia lived as a kind of a prequel series.

Thank you! No promises on any sort of prequel or series, but I'll keep her in mind.
