When you step back and think about it, getting into an argument with a predator, someone who could rip you apart and/or devour you, just doesn't really sound like a good idea, does it?
I'm not going to write a big description here, because even though I have SO MUCH to say, everything really has to do with both this story and the next one, and I don't want to spoil anything. The next one should be up later today; I'm not making you wait long this time, it's too good.
Just tell me one thing at this point. There have been so many comments speculating on what might happen, but I don't think anyone predicted *this*. So tell me, did you see it coming?
This absolute peak of emotion, tension and shock was brought to you in collaboration with x9comega. This series we've made has been one hell of a ride so far, hasn't it? If you need a page to keep refreshing until the next part comes out, here's the one:

Ok, I'm starting to think you are a machine, releasing new chapters at an inhumane pace.
Posted by TheDragonBoy 3 years ago Report
They haven't built machines that can write like *this* yet XD

Haha, well, you could have fooled me :D

Well in #58 I guess we'll get to see what Fiona really cares about.
Posted by Wolfsage 3 years ago Report
My guess is, she is actually trying to save him.
Posted by 2Ron2R 3 years ago Report
It's true that we don't have access to any of Fiona's thoughts after she screamed, so maybe. Fiona eating Jack to protect him is something that has been brought up in the past.
But whether she did it to protect him, out of angry impulse, or something else she's about to find herself put to the test.

I'm with ya. Fiona will obviously save Jack... even if it means that their friendship is no more.
Posted by Wolfsage 3 years ago Report
My thoughts exactly. I havn't been so excited for a new chapter since, chapter 10 :D
Posted by Shadow0000 3 years ago Report
Well...this was not the scenario I was expecting.
Also, alot more morbid of the used armor than I predicted.
Also, no other family members of Arthur's around?
Huh.
I was expecting an, " Do you love..." questions, but damn that went dark.
Posted by x9comega 3 years ago Report
Arthur’s family is…uh…out of town! Yeah…conveniently >.>
Posted by MasterGryph 3 years ago Report
...He's a self-made orphan isn't he.
Posted by x9comega 3 years ago Report
What? No! No he is not
Posted by MasterGryph 3 years ago Report
Of course you'd say that...
Just joking. I was leaning into the evil mastermind portrayal that so many people keep trying to read into him.
Posted by Shadow0000 3 years ago Report
Also note, Jack ask to get bitten by Fiona, so that part is uncalled for.
Posted by 5UP3RN0V4 3 years ago Report
That was BEFORE he knew what a mark is.
Posted by VincentRamone 3 years ago Report
Well... Fuck. I don't know exactly what I was expecting but it certainly wasn't this. Holy shit this was a good read
Posted by TheMysteriousSadSack 3 years ago Report
Ima be honest, the thought never occured to me that this would happen until I was about half way through. And then I reread the title and it all clicked.
Posted by TheDragonBoy 3 years ago Report
Literally exactly how I hoped my readers would respond! Don't ask me how I made it a surprise that "the anthro ate the human" when they are the two main characters in a vore story. But somehow apparently I pulled it off.
Posted by 5UP3RN0V4 3 years ago Report
Well... the next chapter will POSSIBLY show Fiona doing the right thing by choking up Jack... even if it means that he ends his friendship with her here and there.
Posted by 5UP3RN0V4 3 years ago Report
Holy cow!!! Fiona ate Jack!!! She actually ate Jack!!! I just hope she realizes what she did and quickly chokes him back up.
Posted by MasterGryph 3 years ago Report
I'm hoping she runs out of the house to cough him up.
Posted by 5UP3RN0V4 3 years ago Report
I'm with you on that one... even if it means that Jack ends their friendship in front of Arthur and his pack on the spot.
Posted by MasterGryph 3 years ago Report
No, see, if Fiona lets Jack out in front of them, they'll both be vulnerable. She needs to split off from them first.
Posted by 5UP3RN0V4 3 years ago Report
Right.
Posted by Shadow0000 3 years ago Report
Wise decision. Let's hope Jack gets out alive.
Posted by Shadow0000 3 years ago Report
Same here.
This is hurting them both to much.
Posted by Daduke 3 years ago Report
Nope...nope...didn't see that happening here. This chapter was dreadful catharsis everything shouldve been said was just at the worst time and place. I can't even think what exactly comes next and I very eargly await the next chapter.
Posted by lypo 3 years ago Report
I can see Fiona's so called pack trying to make sure she digest Jack in the next chapter. Her friendship with Jack is pretty much over either way even if she decides to let him out.

Fionaaaa! What have you done?! What! Have! You! Done?!
Posted by magicboy13 3 years ago Report
I had expected Fiona to eat Jack, and even a truth or dare thing (it's a writer's favorite lol), but not the way it happened!
That's what you get, Jack, for bottling it in!
IRL lesson there too. You longer you don't talk about stuff with people you care about, the more it will fester until it bursts out and ruins everything.
GJ guys! Time to read the next chapter.
Posted by TheDragonBoy 3 years ago Report
We came up with the truth or dare part at the last minute XD
Posted by magicboy13 3 years ago Report
Oh really! XD What was it originally supposed to be, then?
Posted by TheDragonBoy 3 years ago Report
It was just going to be “a party”. And I’d given zero thought to what activities would actually be happening at said party. When it came to me to actually write, we came up with that game on the spot, and I took a few hours at that point to come up with all the questions.
Posted by magicboy13 3 years ago Report
Ah, only came up with it once you had to fill in the details. I getcha. I do the same thing when I write.
Posted by MasterGryph 3 years ago Report
The way it reads, it seems like Arthur and company had decided on Truth or Dare ahead of time specifically to drive a wedge between Fiona and Jack.
Posted by 5UP3RN0V4 2 years ago Report
It was as if Arthur knew that Jack was at his wits' end, thus decided on "Truth or Dare" to give him that last amount of anger necessary for him to blow up in Fiona's face, thus ending their friendship, along with Fiona turning her best friend into dinner.
Posted by Relius 3 years ago Report
I just had the DUMBEST idea. Like, imagine this sort of 'party' but its essentially a family get together at like christmas and someone brought up politics. Imagine that vibe. Why did I imagine that vibe suddenly?
Posted by x9comega 3 years ago Report
I…Don’t know….
Posted by harpylove 10 months ago Report
I’ll be honest. All I could think through this was Jack asking to talk to Fiona outside, using magic to lock/reinforce all the doors and windows, then setting the house on fire.
Definitely would not work with this story building but that was were my mind went.
Posted by 1ring42 8 months ago Report
Holy. Fuck. I cant look away. I was gonna comment on nice use of truth or dare but damn.
