A commission in which a Dungeons and Dragons session gets vorish when one of the players's characters is eaten by a dragon in-game and, well...the player herself is next! Thems the rules!

Fun read.

Makes me wonder if the dragon DM had done a TPK before.

For just a moment I read "Paarthurnax" there.

Say, aside from the Vore, which Version of D&D is this? (5e player myself)

Personally, I would have had the Dragon turn the archer into his puppet in-game, with the DM letting the lady out, and in on the plan to act as a foe for the party the next time.

Okay, speaking as a D&D player, and occasional DM, it's clear that the other players, and the DM, broke the Social Contract, one of the rules being to never harm another player. Seriously, that's how you loose party members and such.

Now, while this is Pure Fiction, but assuming that the DM and other players didn't want to be locked up for murder in real life (unless the laws in this world are different, like they usually are), the DM should have let the swallowed player out.

Alternatively, there could be a sequel where, after beating the dragon, the party reforms their archer, and in the real world, tech is such that the woman could be reformed herself.

They ARE kinda doing "house rules" sort of thing. Real clown shoes style D&D, obviously...

True, but clearly they also break a few Social Rules, as it were. I mean, it's just impolite to turn a fellow player into a pile of poop, and not give them a chance to reform, or something.

Coincidentally, a couple of years ago, I started adding to an interactive that involved a Monster Dating service, and I created a Thread where the Main Character got invited to a D&D game through a friend, only to find out that the DM was a human-sized dragon, and that the other players were races that had D&D-type counterparts - although the Verdan artificer player liked the idea of piercing their long ears together over the Gith races. Idea is, each player is playing in a VR type of thing, via magic, and each player is playing as a character that's based off of themselves, like the MC being a Strength-based Champion Fighter that has Tavern Brawler and the Archery Fighting Style (they were a high school football player that liked Archery hunting), with the human friend playing as a Thief Rogue (they were the nerd, as it were, that tried to hide from bullies, until the MC protected them during one such bulling attempt, and the two ended up bonding over D&D as a result). As it is, the MC ends up becoming involved with the Tabaxi Barbarian player (the friend had become involved with the Minotaur Druid player prior to the MC joining), and they end up doing a number of things in the Tavern Bedroom that they share, least of which is sex, and non-fatal vore, especially since the Tabaxi Barbarian has the means to brew a Shrinking Potion that reduces folks to Tiny Size, and she loves teasing him when he's that small.

As it is, reading your story has inspired me to make a prequal involving the friend, and what happens when he finds out about the group. I might make a vague reference to your story - as in one of those Horror Stories one hears, only for the Dragon DM to say, "Heard that one too - but I got the real dirt, and it says that story is heavily embellished", with the Swallowed Player and the DM enjoying kinky things, both in and out of game, and that the player survived the events of the "story" that had been posted. Of course, that's just me.
