That's the likeliest reason and Why I didn't make any
response on the previous page, because it was the only
plausible thing I could think of.
The issue here is that if this IS the case, it makes a
very strong indication that most most opponents would
not be able to keep him down even if they could eat
him, which is only further worrying since it lowers
the stakes for Mowgli until he can end up contending
with a person who outranks him to a far greater
degree.
Being honest here, I Like how this comic series is being staged, but even if this is all just for fun, it might be good to balance the justifications for victories and losses in a way that seems like goalposts are being slightly nudged.
I mean, it's 100% valid to declare that Kaa's
swallowed mowgli now and again for practice escaping
predators and fairer still to imply that Tsuyu
possibly hasn't had practice eating actual people yet
before this point... but it's kind of an odd thing to
give Mowgli the edge of eating people whole in the
story when he hasn't in-canon while Tsuyu has ingested
larger-than-normal solid objects in-canon and her own
abilities in-canon would make it easier for HER to
contain a person soundly as opposed to him.
Again, I'm the biggest Mowgli simp around and I'm
still rooting for him, but being even-handed might be
more useful in this ongoing story if only because this
is the first-ever depicted escape and it's an
"alternate" take on Mowgli where the justification for
hiss slipping free is largely implying he's immune or
otherwise heavily resistant to being ingested.
I'm not saying that this was the wrong decision, but I
am concluding that it might have been handled just
with a bit more care if it's not expected that fully-
swallowed contestants can get free. So far, Mowgli's
the one and only and that's a frighteningly massive
advantage over all of the competition.

Here's an idea for you, Varu. Don't know if you thought of this, but instead of having the tags M/F, F/F, and stuff, you leave them open. That way, you can keep us guessing. ^^
