hey guys!! ;v; sorry it's been a while and sorry that this isn't vore, but i made a new character for spooky month this year and figured y'all might like to see her \o/

as i often do, i wanted to make something a little bit fucked up... so this is Morrow! or, well, that's what she goes by, at any rate-- it's technically the name of the body she's inhabiting, so that makes it her name too, right? :>c she is an extremely rare and dangerous species of sentient parasitic fungus, the existence of which was discovered by the 'original' Morrow, a promising college student who was very passionate about studying mycology. it was a great find! a once in a lifetime find, you could say...! she discovered an entirely new species, which she aptly named the 'sinister jade-cap'... but unfortunately, she also got to be the first to find out exactly how the jade-cap works. and, well... if you get close enough to experience that process first hand, you're already dead. you just don't know it yet.

the Morrow you see now is the fully developed fungus, who puppets around her human shell and uses it as her own flesh and blood. her body has been greatly modified on the inside and she takes pains to keep it healthy, nourished, and hydrated enough to prevent it from decaying... she likes this form a lot, after all, and the loss of it would inevitably result in her death, since her kind directly integrates into the host's brain after they succumb to the infection. i've written extensively about how the mushroom works in her profile (under the readmore button near the bottom), for those who are curious to find out just how messed up it is... i had a lot of fun making it! ehehehe >v>; (warning: it is intentionally disturbing; if medical horror squicks you, i would avoid reading it!)

Morrow herself isn't actually an evil creature, though, even if some might see her that way. this process, while undoubtedly grim and terrifying, is simply how her species propagates; they have intelligence and awareness equal to that of humans, but can't put those abilities to use without a highly developed host. while Morrow does definitely want to make more people into jade-caps (it's a reproductive instinct that makes her feel really good, and the survival of her species depends on it), she's also got a fondness for humans and really wants to bond with them, to experience the world as a human does and make genuine friends with other creatures. she's very naive with regards to what's normal or morally acceptable, though... innocent, perhaps, in some of the worst ways possible. she really wants to learn, though, and is sometimes willing to put aside her own desires to achieve that end... so she's not all bad, really! if you're resistant or immune to her spores, or if she doesn't see you as a good target, she can be quite sweet and friendly. .. she's friendly to her victims, too, admittedly... just in a much more unsettling way, given what will eventually become of them.

and as for the burning question: yes, she will absolutely eat you! >V>; i'll definitely be drawing vore of her soon, don't worry! i already have plans! though being transformed into another of her kind is an inevitably-fatal process, being eaten by her actually isn't; she's got lots of little tendrils on the inside of her stomach that sap the energy from her food, so she can feed on other creatures without the need to necessarily digest them. she also cultivates lots of other mushrooms in and on her body, and uses their various effects to incapacitate her prey. if she wants a meal from you, it's quite likely she'll just drug the everloving shit out of you and you'll wake up hours or days later in some back alley, covered in slime and with only vague memories of what happened. ... that said, she can definitely still digest or kill you if you're stupid enough to piss her off... it's just not what she does by default! i'm trash for endo, what can i say ;v;

you'll be seeing some more of her in the near future, but for now... happy slightly-belated halloween! :D
