Our newly re-named Dragon, Kurask, has decided to side with the defenders for the coming conflict. Hopefully, the merchants are grateful for his help!

________
Votes This Chapter:

>Harpy Slave or Meal< Two Harpies, a monster that is half bird, half human woman, attacked Evelyn while she was getting water. Kurask punished one by devouring her alive, but the other’s fate is still uncertain. He certainly has room for the second monster in his stomach, but Evelyn could use the assistance in pleasing him. She’s certainly got the right human parts to get him excited! So the question is, food or slave?

Vote 1 Options
A: Devour the Harpy
B: Enslave the Harpy

>Bandit Assault< Like rats, where there is one, there’s a whole colony of them lying just out of sight. Kurask has followed the defeated bandit remnants back to their source and discovered their hideout. Raiding it would give him everything he needs for Evelyn to live more comfortably by his side in his cave for quite some time, and maybe he can even rescue some additional maidens? Really, the question isn’t should, but how, to attack the hideout.

Vote 2 Options

A: Frontal Assault. Dragon’s are superior to everyone!
-Likely to be the most deadly, and to entail the most resistance, though Kurask could never be repelled by mere bandits, right?

B: Scout, Strategize, and Strike.
-Kurask has only seen one entrance, but there could be others hidden nearby to allow the cowardly fugitives to escape, right? Or maybe there’s a smarter way to corner the bandits than simply rushing in the front door? At the very least, he didn’t want to ruin too much of his spoils by rampaging through the hideout if he could avoid it, right?

C: Creeping Terror.
-Pick off the bandits as they emerge from their cave in a slow, meticulous fashion. This is the slowest method, but it should leave all the goods they’ve stolen intact. Its not really a style befitting a Dragon, but if it gets him what he wants, who cares about his pride?

1) B - If the Goddess contract is solid then it won't hurt to have more slaves. At some point when he has enough slaves they should be more self-sufficient.

2) C - It could have risks sticking to the "normal way" for a dragon. In this world most folks would have a good idea how a normal dragon thinks and acts.

You threw the uno reverse at us on the FIRST encounter? Ok, everyone with a Y chromosome is going to be ash for a good chuck of the upcoming story.

Vote 1: B put a shock collar on that birb, she coming with us.

Vote 2: Also B. As I can no longer trust that these "Brigands" are actually bandits I'd like to try and puzzle that out. Namely cause I WANT that PRINCESS.

Oh, don't worry, the bandits ARE bandits. There was no 'good people' in that particular conflict, so don't feel too bamboozled! There will be another chance at 'rescuing' the Princess, I feel comfortable giving out that spoiler.

I am enjoying this series. I hope you have plenty of mental energy to keep writing this.

1.B I am assuming that the slave contract works.
2. B It is always a good idea to know what you are up against.

1. Harpy slave, with the contract it will be bound to his will. And worst case, if she displeases him, she makes for a good meal.

2.Sneaky is the best way, maximize resources and also finding out information and minimizing harm to self.

1) A, devour the Harpy. We can't even fully care for the slave we have now, and I have a feeling that eating things might be good long term.

2) C, creeping terror. Minimize risk, maximize reward.

1:A
Have her join her friend. She has nothing to offer and is simple drad weight. Lets treat her like it.

2:c
Perhaps its a little unfitting but it's by far the most fun option.

“That certainly hit a spot on his bingo card of isekai fantasy worlds.”

Certainly. Right there with incompetent goddess (she does her best, I know).

I'm enjoying this series so far, can't wait for the watered down anime adaptation :p
