An Adjudicator's Duty - Pg. 7 By Spider8Fiend -- Report

Across the universe, across the Gem Empire, everyone knew who White Spinel was. Aside from the Diamonds, White Spinel was perhaps the oldest Gem in existence, making her one of the strongest to ever live. Legends spoke how in her creation, White Spinel drained a whole Kindergarten dry, granting her enough power to tear open the sky and split continents. And when she assumed the role of Adjudicator, the White Gem devoured Assimilated thousands, nay, millions of Gems. Every other White Gem feared and respected White Spinel and she was held in quiet reverence just as much as the Diamonds.

Worse, White Spinel had the ear of White Diamond herself... supposedly. Ever since the first Diamond slipped out of the public spotlight, White Spinel claimed she followed White's will and carried it out with extreme prejudice. That's how she claimed control over White Diamond's colonies. It certainly fit her role as Adjudicator. Why, with a single word, White Spinel could condemn any Gem to a long, painful end. Assuming she didn't carry out the sentence herself.

Of course, a Gem of such authority was rarely seen in the public eye; White Spinel spent her days white White Colonies, acting as White Diamond's eyes across the Empire. This made her a ghost, a boogie man whose tales scared freshly emerged Gems senseless. Her name was spoken only in hushed tones, and few Gem aristocrats dared utter her name.

For such a Gem to be on Earth, to enter this lowly barn, well it was unthinkable. What could possess White Spinel to tread upon this filthy mudball? It was like a private visit from Death itself, and Lapis Lazuli felt a cold chill run across her back as the Gem Reaper towered over her.

In a voice as dark as a blackhole and grim as the grave, White Spinel said, "You will forget about this little incident. Or, you will join her. Do you understand?"

Shivering like a leaf, Lapis' eyes traveled downwards to White Spinel's gut. The smooth sphere was already shrinking as its muscle walls steadily crushed Peridot. What powerful acids must be washing over her friend, her partner, melting Peridot into a slurry of sparkly gem dust. It was difficult to wrap her mind around it; who could possibly imagine that inches before her, Lapis was watching her partner's eternal demise?

"... Peridot..."

With  delt's permission, I've reposted this comic about Lapis Lazuli having a special... encounter with White Spinel. Who knows, perhaps Lapis can save her best friend in the whole wide world, Peridot, before things get... unsavory.
