When an animal threatens to mess up the cozy deal that is the Friendly Beaches, most of the time the beach patrol doesn't even need to get involved. The other animals are happy to deal with the problem.

Always some kind of trouble.

That is a really fun and interesting take on dolphin digestion. So far I only found strictly realistic or 'otter space' type single chamber descriptions for them. This middle ground was very fun to read.

I've had dolphin tails hanging out of other dolphins before. While I do like to imagine them as a huge swimming stomach, there just isn't room for a same size dolphin to fit in there unless it was folded up in a ball. While that would be slightly more realistic given things like viperfish, it's cool to have a tail hang out from time to time.

The tail hanging out and fast digestion are perfectly reasonable with dolphins I think. I was meaning the ability to pass huge chunks of prey from fore- to main stomach mostly. It made for a fun unusual read.

I suppose it would be just as realistic, quote unquote, for his nose to be in the forestomach only and be digested from there.

I think so. As far as I am aware the forestomachs are extensions of the throat. Hence big stuff gies in easily. But the valve to the main stomach is tight and situated close to the entrance tot he forestomach. So thick things that cannot bent over themselves really need to get pulped in the forestomach first. But that is now always the kind of digestion one wants to write. That is why I liked what you did here. You did not copy paste a generic stomach into cetaceans like most do but left enough room for stretchy things to happen anyway.
