It may be funny.
However, seeing how much Johnny means to Mavis, I think Drac had Wanda eat his son-in-law simply to mess with him a little.

I looked at the summary again, and I discovered some kind of technicality.
If Wanda’s cravings are that bad, Drac would have spared himself having to pay Wanda to eat Johnny… as she would have eaten him anyway, thanks to those cravings of hers.
Plus… I’m sure in an alternate version of that pic, Wanda would have been like “I’m so sorry, Mavis. I don’t know what got over me,” whereas Johnny would have been like “I know a pregnant woman tends to crave odd things at eat, but this is ridiculous.”

You guys, I have an assumption about Wanda's cravings.
Considering that Johnny and Drac rarely see eye to eye, what if Wanda ate Johnny not because Drac paid her to do so, but because it was really because of her cravings?
And to top it all off... Johnny could have simply assumed that Drac paid Wanda to eat him.
Ergo, my assumption is that what Johnny said could be seen as a misunderstanding.
