It was initially a little suspicious that she didn't use an antacid after previously mentioning using them on other Belly Techs. That suspicion grew a little knowing that Raven can digest people fast. And at the end we see that she was trying to get her friend killed so they wouldn't be apart. There's some foreshadowing of Mae's demise.
