Thanks for thinking of me! With any luck, I should have this entire thing up before New Years', so it won't be a long wait.

Glad to see new work from you. No one does dark romance with intangible gals like you

Is it just me or does this story have some serious Lovecraftian vibes? Also I never trust things that shroud themselves in mystery like this one does, lol. Great to see you again, 4!

I'll take that as high praise! But honestly, it comes mostly out of reading into jann a little bit and following rabbit holes of ideas that come up in their stories.
Thanks!

Always fun when the writing muse decides to skip the foreplay and go right for the brain with jumper cables.

Hopefully this one will deliver!

> Breath is the poorest truthbearer of any fluid, and the wind you were created to breathe is the most capricious of all elements.
I love this. Rather unusual to see a pred who actually loaths the spoken tongue.

Thanks! Maybe I was just feeling rather vampirey at the time. Hard to lie with blood!

They say to write the truth, no matter what form it takes. Mine, apparently, is hungry redheads.

Thought I'd drop another comment since I'm through:
I enjoyed this "fifty shades of vore" little trip. I think the way you introduced the marid, just as the relationship with the effrit becomes lovey-dovey, was great. I even thought at first that was a 250 IQ move pulled by the latter ^^
Loved the "pic-nic" scene in the park too.
To have the prey broken into countless mini-mes is a great idea and much more palatable to me than gratuitous reformation. It's cool how you explored the divergence of consciousness as well.
The mini-exploration scenarios were fun. I loved the cosmos exploration one, where the perception of time becomes logarithmic instead of linear. That's a great way of describing something incredibly complex in a few simple words. Double thumb-ups!
The ending felt a bit rushed. I didn't take as much pleasure in the annihilation of (most of) the protagonist as I did with the other vore scenes. I don't understand how the marid tricked the effrit into marriage. If it's hinted at, that went above me. I wouldn't have minded a "bad" ending, with a complete win from the marid. One of the appeal of the vore "genre" for me is that you're allowed to do that.
Great read overall, kudos!

Thank you for the feedback! I'm glad there were bits to enjoy! That's a fair take on the end, and the danger of plotting to an endpoint (zeroing in on it, even if the plot doesn't support rushing there) before the majority of the story.
I hadn't imagined the ifrit was tricked into their bonding, but that they - and the world - were different then, and their interests diverged. I tried to hint (but probably not clearly) that there was a time they'd really enjoyed each other.
And at least we can say that from the marid's - and roughly 0.01% of the POV's - perspective, that bad ending was achieved. ;)
