Toontown toons have no fear of being eaten because they can't digest each other. A hapless tourist thinks it's safe to join in.
Once all is said and done the hippo will cough up the bear, the bear will cough up the skunk and the skunk will NOT cough up the tourist. He got himself into it, he can find his own way out. The indigestible bits will anyway. It won't be the first time they've had to dispose of a slimy mass of half digested clothing.

I adore this view! The concept is fun too. Reminds me of your story, Musical Chairs. With preds nested inside another pred.

In the story the preds were all from movies, but I had trouble with that so I made them more generic.

Some of them have always been jerks but since toons can’t digest each other, tourists tend to assume that it’s safe inside them. It’s safe for a toon. 83

Toons are stretchy but that does happen. Callie the cheetah sometimes swallows someone who is in a belly with her because if she eats them ahead of time she won’t fit into a pred’s maw.
