Strega There was a patch of forest near the clan lands
where no hyena ever went: a little copse of trees surrounded a modest
rocky outcrop, perhaps ten acres of woods all told. It would make a
good hunting-ground for surprising prey yet no-one in the clan went
there, or for that matter even spoke of it. Only the cubs, curious
as any young animal, would ask about it, and any whisper on the
subject was a recipe for feeling the sharp teeth of an annoyed adult.
