Don't worry- the troll was just a day player and 'General the Cat' was (after some antacid and a good night's sleep) right as rain and ready for reshoots the next day. The PA was fired, but not before securing a new troll fresh from the New York theater scene. (Although they did make him sign an insurance release before filming began)

'Cat's Eye' was on television a lot around Halloween and I always think how ridiculous the last story with the troll is. Even though he's got a little knife it just seems like the cat could've easily won that fight. Plus, they set him up as a predator earlier (with the bird) and it just always seemed weird to me that they didn't do more of a traditional cat/mouse ending. Although at that point you'd pretty much be watching a live action version of Tom and Jerry I guess.

I like these characters as well, originally one of the other members of the family was going to meet their fate in a accidental (darkly comic) way, but I couldn't do it- I think they're a good team, lol! I definitely plan to do more with them.

I haven't drawn in so long!
I sort of rushed through these; I'm trying to get back in the habit of drawing everyday again. This was a pretty cliched idea for a comic that got in my head last week and I couldn't get rid of it.
