Do you make art for the viewers or for you?
It's fine if response and criticism is what you expect and desire and make art for. I tend to do it for myself then never release it because it's bad. So no one giving anything I make attention suits me just fine.
I will admit it is frustrating when you do get no attention to your work.

A shame. The worst sin an artist could probably do is delete their artwork because of self-notions of quality.
Art is perceived by everyone differently.
When you look at your art, all you see is shame and "not good enough". When I look at it, I think, "huh, that tummy looks like one of those super huge balls you can ride inside of. That looks silly and comfy. I will favorite this."
I doubt you'll hear my words or care, but allow me to ask you a rhetorical question.
If all you do is something you're not proud of, yet you have that many favorites and views, does that mean your work is bad or YOU just think it's bad. Your fans and supporters seem to disagree with your ideas of what is good art, otherwise we wouldn't be here, slightly miffed that you deleted it all.
You're no Pablo Piccaso, I'll say that. But then again, nobody on this site is. It still irks me how Starcrossing doesn't know how nose bridges work, and if I bring it up, it'll probably be brushed off as a stylistic choice. But Starcrossing keeps on trucking.
Bigbig has one of the most alienating art styles on this website and can't write proper English thanks to a disorder, constantly stressed over such things as piracy. How can people appreciate his art if all they do is steal it. Bigbig keeps on trucking.
Do you know why I favorited you? I was trecking through for good F/F and F/M unbirth and saw what looked like a Wigglytuff but with big nuts. Intrigued, I looked through your gallery and saw nothing displeasing to the eye. I like your goofy Pokemon aesthetic. It's very soft on the eyes and your art is always cartoony and surreal enough to distance itself from any realism. It helps a lot, actually, given the actions and characters portrayed.
I don't care about your depression in particular, you see. Everybody has depression. Some, like you, have it harder than others. I'm pretty self-criticizing too, but there was a time when I wondered if anyone would ever like me outside my family. I kept on trucking even though it hurt so much, and eventually I saw the light.
You can too, as long as you don't do something drastic. Be strong, be safe, and please don't delete your work again. It's another notch on the board of "reasons why I should download any art I like regardless of artists' wishes".
