To be fair, the food in the cinema is grossly overpriced. I don't blame them for wanting to save a buck... And maybe add a bonus snack on top~

As a person who went to a theater last year - for the Super Mario Bros. Movie by Illumination - the food prices there are overpriced, including the Item Block tin. Also, this is a good way to get free food.

If they two already wanted to save money from to go watch a movie, they only needed to Buy their tickets and that's It!
They have a full buffet for they two inside the theater.
I don't see any flaw in that logic: You don't worry about those who make noise, those who look at their cell phone, those who have sex...etc.
