Ever play Borderlands? Your stretchy mouth looks like a great way for "in-universe" explanations of the alien cat's penchant for swallowing things whole.

It reminded me of the Skags from Borderlands, which have mouths that stretch even ridiculously wider, in order to justify them dropping human equipment as loot (they eat anything laying around).
