Princess Gourmet is apparently a character from an obscure Japanese rpg who cooks her people into living croquettes and swallows them whole using her long tongue.
Gourmet, in the game, has a very unflattering figure, with a strangely super skinny top half and huge flabby hips and thighs, so Nobodyman asked her to be cutened up. Otherwise, the only real thing to note is that the prey here is one of the main characters.
It was strangely fun drawing the croquette. XD. I originally wanted to put a crunch sound effect because I THINK croquettes are supposed to be crispy? I dunno, I've never had one. But I didn't cause I thought it'd give the wrong impression in that third panel there.

There is a scene in the game where she eats two of the player characters, after which they must journey through and escape from her stomach. Unfortunately, this is a pretty obscure game, so it was never brought over to the States. You can probably a SNES ROM of it, but as far as I know, no English patch exists.

Croquette comes from the french verb Croquer, which literally means "to crunch"

True, but they're a typical Dutch snack. Basically just ragout covered in breadcrumbs, then deep-fried. So yes, they're supposed to have a crispy crust with (scorching hot) soft insides.
