Over the past month or so, I've been doing a lot of "palette challenges" over on tumblr. This was one of my favorites of the ones I've done so far. :) It was a fun palette, plus it was perfect for this character.

I love drawing girls in cute dresses!

(And, you know, if you'd like to create a pre-vore scene for this in your mind, feel free. :p She's looking awfully unsuspecting, after all. Who knows what--or who--could be hiding in those flowers behind her?)

Great blush and expression. You also did a good job on making depth, in regards to making he petals look like they're in the dress bowl she's making by lifting the front, but are spilling out of it. It was also good in general throughout the picture as a whole. The background suit her perfectly I might add.

In short, another fine job well done. I always love how cute you draw your girls (and their dresses if applicable).

As for a scene, I imagine a giant coming by and picking her up and admiring her like he would pick a good smelling flower, and I'll also let anyone who reads my comment let there imagination run wild from there.

Thanks you very much! I'm glad the depth came through, as I wasn't sure if my limited five colors were going to be enough to bring it out in the shading, but I'm glad it worked! I definitely had a lot of fun with the picture, overall, and I was happy that I went with the flower motif.

Haha, well, cute and kind of 'girl next door' is my preferred kind of girl to draw. :) Heaven knows there's enough 'sexy' types on the site, already. And I just love female characters that have an air of cheer and innocence. Thanks!

I could certainly see something like that happening. XD

So cuuute, I love it~ I can see myself running to her to lift her off her feet and gobble her up >;) And continue to run through the field of flowers with my bulging belly bouncing with me<3

Thank youuu~! :)

Hahaha. XD I'm sure that's not her expected situation to end up in after frolicking through the flower fields. (Amusing visual, nonetheless~)

As cute and adorable as this is, i can't help feel a bit off about how morbid the origin of that title is. Please don't get me wrong, i love the picture. I just have reservations about using titles referencing something about a plague that wiped out i think it was a third of europe. still favoriting it though.

Chameleonette

I meant it more in the innocent sense that it's used by kids and not to what it was later said to have been referring to (hell, I never knew until a couple years ago). When I was a kid, I took it as innocent, and here it was meant to reflect flowers, not a plague, so I don't feel bad about using it because my implications had nothing to do with the actual origin.

Glad you liked it, though.

Yeah, i didn't learn the other part till i was like 13 or something. it's a nice little kids thing when you remember the innocent little thing of holding hands and spinning in a circle that goes with it in nursery and preschool :)

Haha, yeah. Plus, posies ARE flowers. That's mainly what I was trying to think of was a title with flowers that would pop more than "skirt full of flowers" or something lame like that. lol

BabLe7

lame can be endearing. if used in the right spot and in moderation. you might even have been able to get away with 'petal dancer' though that might imply fae now that i think about it. meh she looks cute and that's what counts. she's one of those characters you just want to hug whenever you see her.

I wouldn't worry. Snopes is not convinced that this is anything other than an innocent nursery rhyme, and I find their argument more compelling.

I love your drawings but I really should add that your remarkable skill with coloring really does make it stand out the most.

Aww, thanks! That means a lot. :) I love coloring, but it is time-consuming and hard on the wrist. Glad that pays off in the end!

It's so lovely. I think your art style is fabulous (Although I don't comment as often as I should) I think I like the innocence of the piece, no vore ideas needed, it's too perfect to mar with thoughts like that for me... At least today. :p

At first I thought she had a skirt of bubbles, But the flowers make it even better. Well done.

Thank you! :) I'm glad that you enjoyed it.

Haha, I didn't consider that at first, but it does kind of resemble pink fluffy bubblebath bubbles. XD
