*BEEP BEEP BEEP*
Another too early morning, with too little sleep. Shaggi sat up, stretching as she yawned, and shoved her feet into her slippers--
'Aah!'
The lump in her slipper was as much a surprise as the tiny cry of alarm, but quickly enough Shaggi recovered. She just *knew* microDaz had been hiding out somewhere around here.
"Scared of my socks, are ya?" She asked, a glint in her eye. "Not properly afraid yet!" She grabbed a marker from her nightstand and hastily doodled while microDaz waited, uncertain what he was meant to do.
"RAWR!"
MicroDaz cowered from the beast, retreating into the slipper, but it was no good - it chased him into the shallow cave, smothering him, gobbling him with wriggling toes while Shaggi enthusiastically "NomNomNom"med on behalf of the sock-monster.
But when she was done and pulled her foot free again, the slipper was empty, and a very satisfied sock-monster burped...
