The depth-of-field effect you put on her wings is really well done. Combined with how the colors on the rest of her look, which remind me of watercolors, and you have a real good lookin' pic.

Thanks hibbyjibby, I'm not normally one to use the blur tool to create depth; I'm more about the use of color and line weight. But I wanted to at least try it out, and I'm glad it worked well enough.
Well hey, part of creating art is about, atleast to me, making variety and experimenting. You know, to grow as an artist, I think would be a pretty high priority.
Thankfully in this case, experimenting was a success, haha.
I don't want to stay in my comfort zone, being complacent is the worst thing an artist who wants to grow can do. Though, that's not to say I should continue with what I do and refine it.
I'm honestly surprised to find an artist who actually acknowledges this sorta thing. With how temperamental some can be, and not just on Eka's either, it's refreshing to see this sort of attitude from others. Maybe a part of this journey of sorts even includes other genres and things to depict eh?
Of course, stick with something you like if you like it. That just makes sense.

Can't say that would be a terrible outcome, at least it would be a strong pokemon's thigh fat. Though self-preservation vs. being a beautiful charizard's meal...choices choices.
