the new mystery skulls video came out literally today and my first reaction upon watching it was to drop everything and draw this. jesus christ, I can't recall ever wanting a character to annihilate me this hard after seeing them for all of two seconds, but that's seriously all it took. Shiromori's design is the absolute epitome of 'my type', and her jaggedy mouth with all the pointy teeth (and the one extra-pointy one that sticks out) really put the nail in the coffin... so now I'm that person who draws fetish art of a character immediately after they're unveiled. I fully admit to being garbage, but I love her design and attitude way too much ;~;

It depends what that footage reveals about her! I'd love so much to know more about her personality (I wish I could hear her talk so I knew her speech mannerisms and such, but I doubt that will happen considering the nature of the videos). I can assume that I'd draw more vorish/domineering stuff, since that's my usual favored fare and judging by how she acts and emotes in the latest video, she's almost undoubtedly a villain. If that proves true and she ends up being sufficiently amoral, it'll only make me love her more. ;v;

I CAN'T HELP IT ;__; Everything about her design is attractive to me, and the style the creator draws in has always suited my fancy. It's so expressive and dynamic and colorful! Just watching her in action in the video makes me happy... and I've watched it way too many times already, I'm afraid. I really want to find out more, but I don't think that'll be happening soon, since it took a year for this one to be produced. :I

I dunno, she seemed pretty villian-ish, but it also seemed like she only cared about the dog. She is quite a looker though.

Yeah, it's pretty clear that she's trying to find the dog/kitsune/whatever he is for some reason. I don't know if her intentions are good or bad, but I'd guess the latter if her psychotic expressions are anything to go by. I can hope, anyway. >///>;

What do you mean? A lot of the story stuff is all speculation since it's vague in places... and even for the parts that aren't, I don't really want to try and explain the entire storyline of the videos, sorry. ;v; I'm sure if you look up Mystery Skulls Animated, you'll find a summary of the plot so far.

It was stupidly instant. I couldn't handle it. The more I saw of her, the more I was like 'HHHHHNNNGH', and by the halfway point of the video I was totally smitten and had to draw her. I had no choice. :T

I was the exact same way...minus the drawing bit. If you don't mind me spouting ideas...One of the first things I imagine her doing was like a land-shark dealy, like dragging people down into her mouth, or just leaping out of the ground mouth first, chomping down on anyone she wanted.

fffffff, I didn't actually think of that but with the way she digs through the ground... that would work way too well. @v@; I still have a hell of a time trying to draw same-size, but I'll keep that idea in mind, since I like it a lot. Thanks! >v>;

Well, obviously she's not that huge-- I just have a thing for macro/micro. But thank you!! I tried to capture her personality and expressions and such, even though my art style is different from the creator's in a number of ways.

But that's that it means to be an artist, we learn, we teach, and we try new styles, and honestly, that sketch in the bottom left does make her huge, but then again, being short tends to do that lol X3

Ehehehee, god, I do too. I think she will, she seems important to the plot now, so I doubt they'd just have her vanish never to be seen again. Now I just have to wait another tear for the next video to be done... :I though I can't blame anyone for that. Animation is hard, and takes forever.

A wild Ceru disappeared! ... Again. I wonder if there's some sort of Ceru insurance by now, then again they'd probably go bankrupt in like an hour....
Shiromori is totally awesome though, and I certainly can't blame you for flipping head over heels for her! In fact, I think I have too!

Ceru Insurance seems like a good investment since Ceru is always dying, but... yes, as you say, the company would go totally bankrupt from all the loss of Ceru that would constantly be happening.
Man, it seems like a lot of people who saw this and watched the video ended up liking her! I'm glad it's not just me, really @v@; I feel a little better about going nuts over her when other people around here are in agreement!

I'm nothing if not predictable! \o/ Thanks, though! I feel like my art style can capture a really crazy, emotive character like her pretty well, since my style is ALSO kind of crazy and emotive, at least when it comes to faces. It's nice to hear something like that actually said, though. ;v;

She makes some of the best expressions I have literally ever seen in my whole life. But yes, I know the expression you're talking about @///@; that was the one that really, REALLY sold me on her.

Actually, you'd be surprised! My tastes have changed quite a lot over the past few years. I'd say a fair bit of your art is totally the sort of thing I like, and you draw a lot of things in a way I find really attractive and impressive. :>
