Second part of of the POV Meralimexia sequence. The first one is here : http://aryion.com/g4/view/348245
For this one I worked quite a bit on the textures and attempted to draw a bit more of a realistic view of Merali's throat, with showing the epiglottis. it's the first time I'm trying this and references are very rare or very in motion in case of endoscopy cameras so the result is not necessarily super accurate but well I tried XD Overall the idea is to give a feeling to the viewer of what it's like to be swallowed X3

Before I even read your description I was going "YES, he's finally testing the waters for more realistic throats!"
I saw some of these videos as well and since then I can't help but include that sort of detail in my stories since it just feels more realistic. Like you say, though, references are hard to come by so I'm sort of winging it as well.
Your throats have always been very cartoonish in their "they're just a tube behind the uvula" depictions and, while that's great in itself, I'm super happy to see you trying new angles! =D

Thanks XD and yeah I don't know why but I started to draw that classic "tube behind the uvula" thing and somehow it just bothered me. I thought " nah I need to step up " ^^
