For the longest time, I've been debating with myself whether I want to adopt hard shading or keep trying to improve soft. Seeing your work makes it clear to me that I want to adopt a mixture of the two, because these colors just POP!

Mixing the two is the way to go. As two objects get nearer to each other, the shadows will become crisper, and more defined, while farther projections get softer. This is a simple and effective way to add more depth to a drawing.

Wow boy, what a comic, especially that last panel! Love it when a belly like that causes some property damage haha. Also I find it quite cute that the octopus girl is wearing a stocking on one of her tentacles.

Man, this is so good. Your style is one of my favorite of all time. It kinda makes me sad, because I realize my art is shite in comparison. but it also inspires me to keep pushing. So that one day, I too can draw high quality niche smut!

I understand the feeling entirely. Every artist you know has someone they look at with envy and use for motivation. If you want to feel better, look at my old work, and you can find proof that I wasn't born with the talent. Keep it up, draw from references, spend time studying the real world. Spend lots of time "studying" your craft.

You can do math problems for 2 hours, but unless you approach it with a system to learn with, you'll just spin your wheels. If you want to improve, put in the studying and practice, you will. You're art looks good. Keep it up, and share more with us.
