Depends on your idea of safe. Karyn and Rikku have their own methods of getting a new body, so for them to indulge in being food for practically anyone is "safe" to an extent. But Kris deals only in the willing and those able to come back by whatever means~

And thus begins a long, slow and painless digestion process, thanks mostly to a number of modifications both to Kris' internals and Karyn and Rikku for pain dampening and such. The whole process will take a good four- five days on average, and Kris will be one lethargic noodle. Also Darius has bone density upgades so his ribs are mostly fine... As for the girls, this is not exactly uncommon, they'll be back in time to still feel themselves whole (mostly) inside.
Just adore how this page turned out. Love how you've portrayed everyone, and that Umi cameo is perfect <3
